Ranunculus - Giant asiaticus Mixed. These stunning compact Ranunculus produce a vibrant mixture of Peony shaped flowers in a variety of colours. Up to 6cm in diameter, the flowers bloom atop 20-25cm stems. Perfect for patio pots and garden borders, they are also great as part of a cut flower display for enjoying within the home. A generous thirty (30) stem bunch of yellow Tecolote® Giant Ranunculus grown at the world-famous Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. The Tecolote® is one of the finest strains of ranunculus plants in the world. The ranunculus flower is native to Asia Minor and is a member of the buttercup family. The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch is well aware of and up to date on the details surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus). Welcome Back! It’s time to return! It is time to re-discover North San Diego’s world-renowned spring experience for the past 40 years – the blooming of 50-acres of ranunculus flowers at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad!

Last year our time together was cut short, and we missed you! But this hiatus gave us time to reflect and rethink how we can be together again, safely- yet still offering the same mesmerizing experience. As a result, we are thrilled to welcome back visitors to experience The Flower Fields with its giant ranunculus and colorful gardens. Melt your cares away under the glowing, warm So-Cal sun. The vibrant color will be just as you remember it! Immerse yourself at this moment in time – and let the world stand still just for a day!

The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch is well aware of and up to date on the details surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus). We carefully monitor the information available from the Centers for Disease Control and trust the San Diego Public Health Department’s diligence in keeping us informed.

Every day our staff follows thorough cleaning and disinfecting procedures to ensure they meet or exceed all CDC guidelines. Hard surfaces in all public areas are wiped down with disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner. We encourage all to follow the everyday preventative measures of staying home when sick and washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

We want you, your friends and family to have a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience at our 50 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This will include wearing masks, socially distancing and buying your tickets online before you come. We delight in having our guests enjoy this wonderful season of beautiful flowers, informative demonstrations, blueberry picking, spectacular photographic opportunities and entertainment in our open-air venues.
