I have tried everything but Drag and Drop does not work. I have made it bidirectional by setting Clipboard and Drag and Drop as bidirectional in Settings > General > Advanced. This applies for all the guest OS i have on my virtual box. There are many updates which have come all this time, but none of them even after re-installation have fixed the issues. I did a work around for windows OS by opening the shared folder and then transferring the files, however for other linux based operating system and a android emulator I am running, this does not work. Guest addition installation has not fixed the issue either.
I am stuck - I can't do a fresh reinstallation now as other licensed OS will be gone and will take me a lot of time to get all the VM's up.

PS: Drag and Drop does not work even if I share the folder and then try using drag and drop.

Step 2. When the VM setting opened click on the “Options” tab. Then from the list down select “Guest Isolation”, and check the box of “Drag & Drop” and “Enable copy and Paste”, once that is done click OK.

Step 4. When you signed in to macOS Catalina home screen. A pop-up will come then click on “Open system preferences”.
Step 5. Once the Security & Privacy window opened click on the left-bottom lock icon. And enter your password then click unlock.

Step 7. Once you did it, check that it works or not? for sample select a file copy that and paste to macOS Catalina. As I have done it check the below screenshot.
